Event Rules
All entrants are allowed one co-pilot. Entrants and co-pilots will have designated bracelets. Your co-pilot is also allowed to make passes in the car and his or her time slips will also count.
You may have other people in the vehicle, but they will have to pay at the gate each day.
Must show proof of current and valid insurance, current and valid registration, and current and valid state issued drivers license. If your co-pilot is going to drive at the track or on the street - they will also need to provide proof of a valid state-issued Driver's license.
All cars must have head lights, tail lights, turn signals and brake lights.
Please have the proper safety equipment for the ET that you plan to run.
There will be tech to confirm your car fits the rules for your class. After tech you will receive your class designation sticker, event stickers and your wrist bands for you and your co pilot. The class designation sticker and car number sticker must be on the car in the proper locations. A tech official will either do it for you or show you where to put them.
Every drive from track to track will have a couple checkpoints along the way, you will be given the route and checkpoint locations at the time of turning in your timeslip on day 1 and 2.
When you get to the check point, take a picture of your car at the check point. When you turn in your slips on the following day, you will be required to show these pictures to the person recording your slip as proof that you hit the checkpoints.
There will be no use of your large trailer and or truck once your car is in the staging lanes. Use of your truck or trailer will signify withdrawal from competition. You of course will be able to use anything in your travel trailer to fix issues.
After you turn in a slip on day 3, you may access the truck and trailer again.
If you are withdrawing from competition, please notify Bryan or Rachel either in person, in the Pistons in the Pines FB group or at pistonsinthepines@gmail.com
No chase vehicles allowed. A chase vehicle would be defined as someone on the route with the sole purpose of carrying spare parts/tools for you.
This will mostly be on the honor system, we obviously cannot police everyone all of the time.
Race Rules
